LIFEGUARDS BEGIN 5/1/2010
Lifeguards will begin service at the Oak Ridge Pool on 5/1/2010 and continue to September 2010. Lifeguards will check pool cards and verify eligibility to enter the pool and basketball court. Lifeguards will have the authority to call police to remove anyone who violates the pool rules. New rules were passed at the last Board meeting allowing ONLY homeowners to invite guests and the homeowner MUST be present when guests are there. Children of Owners MAY NOT invite guests. Anyone under 16 MUST be accompanied by parent or their designee. (in writing) form on the forms page.
Pool will be cleared by lifeguards every afternoon at 2:00PM before allowing continued swimming.

LEANDER CODE ENFORCEMENT
Please be aware that as your fence ages and you are choosing to replace it, the city of Leander does have an ordinance limiting residential fences to be no taller than 6 feet. Please do not build your fence higher than 6 feet, as it will be subject to Leander code enforcement.
Code enforcement for the city of Leander also has guidelines for keeping up lawns:
Sec. 6.204 Prohibited Conduct
It shall be unlawful for an owner, occupant, lessee or renter of any lot or parcel of ground within the city to fail to keep the property free from brush, earth and construction materials, garbage, junk, refuse, rubbish, solid waste, trash, weeds, unwholesome matters and any other objectionable, unsightly, or unsanitary matter of whatsoever nature, or to fail to keep the sidewalks in front of the property free and clear from weeds and tall grass from the line of such property to the established curbline next adjacent thereto, or to fail to fill up and drain holes and depressions in which water collects, or to regrade any lots, grounds or yards or any other property owned or controlled by the owner, occupant, lessee, or renter which shall be unwholesome or have stagnant water thereon, or which from any other cause, is in such condition as to be liable to produce disease or to fail to keep any house, building, establishment, lot, yard or ground owned or occupied or under his or her control at all times free from filth, impure or unwholesome matter of any kind. (1999 Code of Ordinances, Chapter 6, Article 6.200, Section 6.204)
